FORMER MUNICIPAL WAREHOUSES COMPETITION  

The redevelopment of abandoned urban spaces a Cuneo of the former military warehouses has sought the ways of relating the building to its surroundings. The courtyard interior enclosed by a colonnade is emptied from the infills to make visible the series of arches of the internal colonnade creating a path along which to attest the service stairs and of external emergency. This porous ensemble makes visible the various levels of the building and the new stairs, chromatically characterized, they create voids and full, entangling the colonnade and creating clear and dark in the elevation. The rule given by the plant original does not oppose the new project, rule and exception are not opposed, but chase each other with figurations that characterize the building in one contemporary architectural vision.
